This event involved providing sellout support and branding for Urquhart opticians in Prestwick at their ‘Oakley takeover day’. The takeover involves removing all other brands from the practice and re-stocking with all current sun and vista samples from the range.

The weekend date chosen, combined with unseasonably good weather and location of the practice on the main street in Prestwick drove steady foot traffic through the day as well as the customers who had RSVP’d to the email campaign pre event.

sun and clear was well balanced throughout the day, but was biased towards sun, likely due to the 3 weeks of consistent good weather in Scotland leading up to the event

All prescription jobs dispensed (clear and sun) used OAP or Transitions Gen S.

As now expected from events held with this buying group. They did an outstanding job before the event pushing on social media, mailing lists and physically instore, this ensured a great turnout and extremely high conversion on the day.

The day produced £6,600 in total sellout which was a record for the door, and given the limited space in which to work, this value significantly exceeded all expectations the practice had for potential sellout.
