Flat and Fast is a race series held by Stride Athletics where each of the athletics clubs from each Scottish county is invited to compete against one another,

This event differed to previous F&F events with stride as it was used as a qualification event or the 2026 commonwealth games. Meaning a number of national and internationally ranked athletes were in attendance competing for points the contribute to selection for the games

Our setup at the event was extremely effective consisting of, 7 flags, 2x EZ ups with sides, 20x banners placed around the track and a full range of demo and sample eyewear.

Fewer brands were in attendance at this event due to it running close to the London marathon(the following weekend) but there was still a brand village energy with ON, Asics, Saucony, Brooks on site with Oakley and ON having the most impactful setups and Headline sponsor position

As a part of being a headline sponsor for Flat and Fast we also took part in the ‘athlete springboard’ this is a program where selected runners are offered an opportunity to run in equipment from one or more brands, we offered 1x male and 1x female athlete in the elite division, in order to offer the athletes a head to toe package we collaborated with Nike running for footwear. (Oakley x Nike Athlete springboard runner Isabella ogg went on to win the elite women’s race)

Less brands competing for space did offer an opportunity to go heavier on the trackside branding and also focused runners and spectators to the brands in attendance yielding a higher demo number than in the past
