This sparked a friendly competition and also drew the attention of some of Irelands perspective elite under 18 downhill mountain bikers. who were excited to compete and try and win the coveted MTB goggles prize on offer
The weather was extremely hot and clear during the event which gave a good opportunity for consumers to come and try a verity of different lenses for the woods and open air sections of the trails as well as creating a good buzz around the demo site, the availability of free Redbull also contributed to a steady flow people and product interactions throughout the day
The set up was simple and effective comprising of 2x tents, 3x demo tables, 6x flags 3xbanners. a full 2025 sample eyewear set, and a full range of bike specific demo eyewear and goggles were available for the riders to try
The setup location next to the bike rental office and the café worked well as it one of the main routes for riding through the demo site and accessing the trails . Having an A board with ‘demo center’ near to the entrance definitely drove riders in to the test site who would perhaps otherwise have not.
