Details
The ISA junior series brings together the top under 18 surfers from all the Irish counties to compete against one another to earn the opportunity to compete for team Ireland at an international level at the 2025 European junior surf championships .
Continued support and co-operation from the ISA allowed us to once again place prominent branding and set up in a prime location on the promenade in Lahinch next to the judging panel and live scoring set up, which included a 100inch tv live streaming a wave by wave analysis of the competition as well as a steady flow of spectators passing by the setup
The weather and the water conditions were variable , which meant less spectators than the previous stages of the ISA junior tour.. Despite this the format of the competition along wiht the location meant there was a regular rotation of spectators and competitors allowed a good amount of interaction between the heats.
The setup consisted of 1x tent, 1x table, 7x flags, and 6x banners and a full 2025 eyewear sample set which, paired with location yielded a high level foot traffic and engagement with the brand during the day
Beach chairs and more flags would further round out the set up and increase prominence and should be explored for future events.
The event was being professionally filmed on RTE (regularly watched by around 138k people) for a 8 part documentary on the ISA junior tour titled ‘new wave’. Set to be released in September 2026.
This media presence will also be the at the next 3 events. The brand, logos, product and set ups are going to feature heavily in the footage as well as the winners of each category being interviewed usually wearing branded product.
Sponsored rider, josh Karbus placed first in class and over all once again re affirming his position as one of the best surfers in the Ireland .
