Galway gravel grinder is a multi-terrain a bike race in Moycullen, co Galway. this is the second year we have supported the event where we have provided riders and spectators with the opportunity to, try on and demo eyewear and helmets. We also provided prizes for the winning riders for each distance.
The gravel village location was less prominent than the previous year due to short time scale for the event being approved by the local council, therefore less passing trade than in 2023. we were set back from the start/finish line at Moycullen GAA club but on the through route to the hospitality and food stalls, which meant steady foot traffic all day even when all the racers were on the course although the
Demos went out steadily throughout the day (mainly EW but some helmets), all Prizm lenses were very well received.
the weather throughout the event was extremely poor so many riders dropped out or reduced to the shorter length courses and the demand for ew was lower than expected.
